FWD Group Holdings Limited (“FWD Group”) today announced the appointment of Anantharaman Sridharan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FWD Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited ("FWD Vietnam”) from 1 August 2023.

Binayak Dutta, Managing Director, Emerging Markets, and Group Chief Distribution Officer said, “Anantharaman first started our operations in Vietnam and was instrumental in building a strong foundation for the business in one of the most attractive markets in Asia. Over the years, we have established a successful multi-channel distribution model and were named number one for customer experience . I’m confident that Anantharaman will continue to drive that growth and success, leveraging the talented team that we have developed across our Vietnam business in recent years.”

Mr. Sridharan joined FWD Philippines in 2015 as Chief Agency Officer and later assumed the role of CEO of FWD Vietnam in 2016. Since then, he has undertaken a number of key roles, including CEO of FWD Indonesia and Group Chief of Agency Distribution. He is an industry leader with over 20 years of experience in various insurance roles across Asia. He will continue to report to Mr. Dutta.
