FWD Group (“FWD”), the pan-Asian life insurer, today announced the launch of its FWD Partnership Elite Learning Programme with the Yale School of Management (“Yale SOM”), a leading global business school, to offer bespoke learning and development opportunities, designed exclusively for FWD and its Bancassurance and Independent Financial Adviser (“IFA”) partners across Asia.

This programme is part of FWD’s commitment to develop its network of partnership distribution executives and financial advisors by enhancing their communication and leadership skills as well as growing their financial knowledge to meet the continually evolving needs and demands of customers.

Through this multi-year collaboration, FWD’s executives and consultants from both FWD and its Bancassurance and IFA partners across the region will have access to Yale’s world-class faculty and learning content beyond the existing training programmes delivered locally.

The FWD Partnership Elite Learning Programme will offer two distinct tracks to address different skill sets tailored for varied groups of partnership professionals:

FWD Elite Financial Consultant Programme – Designed for sellers, referrers as well as frontline sales support team working in its various partnerships to broaden their knowledge in key financial products, financial planning and effective communication. The online programme will use on-demand video lectures, quizzes and assignments to help participants learn how to more effectively communicate with prospects and customers and provide them with appropriate and holistic financial solutions.

FWD Elite Executive Programme – An opportunity for a selected group of Bancassurance and IFA executives from FWD as well as its partners across the region to attend a week-long learning programme on campus at Yale SOM in Connecticut, USA. With speakers from across Yale’s graduate schools and research centres, as well as external specialists, participants will experience a unique hands-on learning programme hosted by a world-class programme management team.

The inaugural cohort of FWD Elite Financial Consultant Programme with Yale SOM is expected to commence in Q4 2021 whilst the on-campus FWD Elite Executive Programme is expected to commence when travelling restrictions are eased to a safe level.
